Remembrance Day

Last week, schools across our Trust joined together to observe Remembrance Day, creating a shared moment of reflection, learning and community spirit.
For our Trust, Remembrance Day is not just an annual commemoration, but an opportunity to instil values of respect, empathy and gratitude year-round. Through assemblies, creative projects and class discussions, pupils learn about the significance of the day and reflect on the sacrifices made for peace and freedom. The symbolism of the poppy is explored alongside wider themes that connect the past, present, and future.

By marking this important occasion together, we teach our pupils not only to look back, but also to look forward with hope.  The significance of Remembrance Day continues to resonate in our schools, shaping our community for generations to come.
