Remembrance

In honour of Remembrance Day, we paid tribute by crafting a cascade of poppies at both the Infant and Junior Sites of South Farnham School. Pupils created poppies at home and then collectively formed a poignant sea of remembrance.

At Great Bookham School, George (year 6) received a Headteacher's Award for leading the whole school in a one-minute silence and performance of The Last Post.

Highfield South Farnham School's year 6 children represented the school at the Farnham Schools' Confederation Remembrance Service. Lest we forget....

The Raleigh School' service was led by Mr Tuckett and Eli played the Last Post on his trumpet, which really added to the whole experience.

Brighton Hill Community School pupils get ready to lay their wreath.

Where the Poppies Now Grow is a beautiful book that has helped many children learn about the First World War. 0
